This past Saturday I raked and bagged 12 large lawn bags of leaves- and that was just the back yard!!! Quite the workout! Josh had to work all afternoon so it was just me and kids.
Here are Hazel and Gus and a neighbor boy, Cooper "helping" me rake.
Gus has been bringing home guided reading books (books with simple, parallel phrases that can be easily deciphered by looking at the picture on the page). Once we read the book and work with a sentence from the book, Gus gets to draw a picture from the book. Here is his interpretation of this image from the book. So adorable- and detailed! I think I may have an artist on my hands.
