Gus went with me to get groceries this weekend. We picked out some doughnuts for daddy, and of course Gus had to pick out a few for himself also.
Hazel thought that Gus looked pretty messy with all that frosting on his face!
Later Gus played with his
play dough. He made this little creature and kept saying "Happy Birthday Papa" to it. That kid cracks me up. I don't know where he gets it.
Gus has decided that he wants to be a cowboy for Halloween. It was between being a cowboy or a
hot dog, so I am glad he chose to be a cowboy. Since we started putting together his costume, he loves playing with it! He insists on wearing his boots everywhere. This weekend I couldn't get him to wear his clothes, but the boots, he wouldn't take off.

We made fall inspired sugar cookies this weekend. Gus liked eating the cookies more than he liked decorating them.
Daddy had to work both Saturday and Sunday this weekend so when he was around in the evenings, Hazel LOVED it. She stares and smiles at daddy whenever he is nearby. Definitely daddy's little girl already.
