2 Month Appointment

Gus had his 2 month appointment this morning. It was a big one, he got his first round of shots (although we did start one round in the hospital when he was born). He was such a trooper and only cried when they gave him the four shots. He also had one given orally, and he didn't seem to mind the flavor, although the nurse said it didn't taste very good.

Gus weighed in at 12 pounds and 5 ounces! He is in the 90th percentile for weight. He was 24 inches long, or the 75-90 percentile for height. For head circumference, he was in the 25-50 percentile. He is such a big growing boy! We are so proud of him. He goes back to the doctor at 4 months, or on September 19th, when he will get more shots. I tried to put a picture of his cute little thighs with Snoopy bandages, but he wasn't wanting to hold still for the camera.

He seems to be feeling better, and over his cold, although for the next few days he will probably be fussy and his legs will be sore from the shots. Mommy still has the cold, but is starting to feel a little better today. We did just give Gus some Tylenol, as the doc suggested we do today every 4 hours, so that he isn't feeling too poorly from today's events.

This weekend we have nothing planned and are happy for it. We can recooperate before next week, when family will be visiting for Gus' Baptism. Hope you all have a great weekend!
